WPT Power is pleased to announce today its most recent hire, Brett Emson as the Asia Pacific Sales Manager. Emson’s new position will focus on more face-to-face communications with both distributors and Original Equipment Manufacturers in the region, to coordinate and provide technical solutions, new product developments and general field support for WPT customers.
Emson has had various roles within the industrial sector for the past 17 years including Mining, Drilling, Marine, Paper, and Steel along with many others. For the last five years, he has been a part of the leadership team at Statewide Bearings in Queensland and prior to that, Branch Manager at SKF Bearings & Power Transmission in Archerfield and Mount Isa, Australia. While at Statewide Bearings, Emson was the State Sales Manager and was responsible for formulating market strategies to specific industrial segments as well as being actively involved in both technical and commercial field applications.
Commenting on the Emson’s employment, Byron Baber, General Sales Manager, said: “Brett brings a wealth of sales management experience, valuable hands-on know-how and will be an asset to our fast-growing team at WPT Power.”
